The Tri City Water & Sanitary Authority is pleased to announce that it has received a grant from the Bureau of Reclamation to support the construction of a new 300,000-gallon water storage reservoir within the district. The grant, awarded on December 20, 2024, will fund 50% of the total project cost, which is estimated at $2,439,116.

After a competitive bidding process, the contract for construction was awarded to The Saunders Company on December 10, 2025. Construction is anticipated to begin this spring.

This project represents a significant investment in the reliability and resilience of our community’s water system. The new reservoir will enhance storage capacity, improve system performance during peak demand, and support long-term infrastructure needs.

The Tri City Water & Sanitary Authority is grateful for the Bureau of Reclamation’s partnership and looks forward to updating the community as the project progresses.
